You'll be able to use your skin once I do the full custom skinning function. Right now I don't feel like wasting nay more of my time doing a skin that the users will be able to make in the next version.

Oh and after installing the latest repack of iGskinner the NO GPS Nag is no longer present on a system that does not have a GPS attached. So there is one + vote for It Works!
    I like your sig

Anyways, so I'm guessing that it works now. How about on hibernation?

Didn't see the no GPS nag. All appears good. Embeded in CF with no problems. The only thing that I notice now is when I exit CF, before both CF and iGS would close. Now, iGS stays open.

    Derek

PS. For those who are interested, attached is RiXst3r's skin ready for use on 3.9.1. Backup your skin.ini file (ie., rename it to _skin.ini) and extract the files into the iGSkinner Beta 3.9.1 folder.

(Note: This should hold you over until the next release when skinning should be a bit better. The Favorites, Save My Location, and Toggle 3D View are not available at this time even though they are in the skin.ini. Probably still need to be coded in order to use them. They won't be shown on the screen.)

Okay. Good news and bad news. I just restarted my computer
Good news: CF closes iGS just fine.
Bad news: no GPS nag is back (think GPSGate was still running but its icon was gone.)

What kind of information do you need? Just tell me how to get it and I'll see if I can get it for you (since I appear to have no problems making the nag appear...).

    Derek

EDIT: When closing RR, iGS stays open like CF just as posted above.

There must be something up with your computer. RR and CF close iGS down.

Do you have the no GPS on resume bug or the no GPS nag when starting iG?

Here's the results of several tests.I tried with GPS running in simulation mode once with RR and specified which COM port to use in RR (even though I don't think it matters).
    Code:
Test W/O GPS Gate Running With GPS Gate Running
    ---- ---------------------- ----------------------
RR1 Nag; Stays open No nag; Stays open
RR2 Nag; Stays open No nag; Stays open
RR3 Nag; Stays open No nag; stays open

CF1 Nag; closes No nag; closes
CF2 Nag; closes No nag; closes
CF3 Nag; closes No nag; closes
Define the no GPS on resume bug so I know what to look for.

Its really weird. I don't have a GPS connected to my computer and it doesn't give me the no GPS nag unless I have 2 isntances of iG running.

No gps on resume is when windows needs to reconnect the GPS when you resume. When you hibernate and resume, you should not see a reconnect GPS.
