steps->
under bitmaps go to
166
167 *note both of these are the volume related buttons

145 *note this is the menu button

130
131 *these are the zoom buttons

so replace these with a 1x1 white bitmap

to remove the menu text
go to stringtables
---377
---1033

now go to string

6030, "Menu"
change that to
6030, " "

*u must add that space then press compile then save a new exe...im not responsible for u blowing up ur comp tho(

just kidding u wont blow ur comp up but be careful, im still not responsible) ...btw u might wanan back up ur .exe

using iGSkinner_BETA3.9.1 (this is the current release isnt it... i also get nag screens and other crap like the warnign thing takes 1 2nd to go away...using iGuidance ver 2.0) errr n/m about the 2nd pic its just the gps not connected crap thats still being anoying.

In the second picture the GPS main screen is shifted within the window- this is apparent. I believe that you can modify the "nudge" or "nudge_windows" settings within the igskinner.ini.

Use these settings within iGskinner to reposition the window and get it centered. Open the ini change values, save the ini then relaunch iGskinner to get an idea of where the window is.

Wash, rinse, repeat...

this leads me to a question. can you use IgSkinner with no skin files? So that it appears as it does above but still has the nag kill and (possible) Gps resume features?

nevermind. Just made all the skin bitmaps the 1x1 bitmap. SWEET!

Does ZOTS skin work. DO the buttons do what they say they do?

There should be no reason why it wouldnot work. You can just disable the skin by changin the Skin.ini to be "false" for all the buttons,, or put small bitmaps 1x1 pixel, and use those in your skin.

All the buttons on the ZOTS skin work cept for the navigate home button. He's trying to figure out a way to add an address to the .skin file.

You can increase the Font size of all the text windows. It makes it easier to see, but will have strange outcomes on certain screens. You can also change the text of several of the screens, so the warning can be "Warning, Failure to pay for the drivers fuel will result in a ***** slapping" or, "Females must pay with XXXXX" or anything like that.
