I have created a RR skin for external GPS that includes the controls for the music player. That and an IGS skin that matches, and you should be all set to go. That is the route I intend to take.

Wow E30vert, that skin looks like total **** LOL. (jk, it's kinda cool... I like the one currently included better though)
Anyway, I would like to suggest that all you skinners out there include a (c)theme.ini file to go with the buttons like I did on my RPM_Skin. It would be great to have it all come to gether in one color coordinated package.
Also, I was thinking iGSkinner could be expanded to work with other apps. A Delorme 2005 skinner app might be my favorite choice for nav. Delorme is lacking 3D view, but after using iG 3D view (at all 3 levels) for about a month, and then recently switching back to 2D view, I have decided that 2D view is actually a lot more informative and easier to use at a quick glance (except when zoomed way in, then 3D looks just as good). What I like mose about Delorme is that it has 2 or 3 seperate maps at different zoom levels. It is definatly very helpful to see your current position and destination on the same zoomed-out map, and still be able to have a seperate zoomed-in map so you can see the street names near you. I also like the look of its maps the best and the bread-crumb trail and logging is totally awesome. The only problem is that it is not car friendly at all, but an app like iGSkinner for it could easily change that set-back.

The programs are probably very different, and skinning one is not necessarily gonna make it easier to skin the other. Let him work on IGS, the one he already started before suggesting moving on to another program.
leelo is ours, now step off there youngin.

LOL. I know... I'm talking for the future here. AFTER he gets iGSkinner all done (and BTW 3.5.1 is still working perfect in my CarPC [with full boot, not hybernate]) it should be fairly easy to expand to any program.
All he needs to do is add a user (ini-file) defined number of buttons and allow the ini to assign each number button 3 images, x/y coordinates, and a keyboard hot-key to send to the program (iGuidance). If he has that and you can skip the "nag-killer", then this program would work for ANY software (as long as it didn't have a nag-screen... making the nag-killer work for other programs would take a lot more coding).
Also, I have been working on doing some of the coding for this functionality (and nag-killing my TMO-Datalogger software) myself. If it is ok with Ol33l (and I would definatly pay him credit), I may post a more generic version of his skinner/embedder program once I have it working for me (it will be at least a few weeks I am sure).
