i don't know if this was asked before - can skinbedder buttons be used to lauch other AutoIT scripts?

Not yet. V3 will have AutoItX built in. You will be able to have a button do many of the same things AutoIt scripts can do (including run other programs [including AutoIt scripts]). The one catch is that the AutoItX Run() and RunWait() commands will not run non-exe/com/bat files even if they are associated (which is totally lame). You will still be able to run compiled AutiIt scripts or you can run "<AutoIt-Path>\AutoIt.exe <scriptfile>.au3".

I don't know if you guys care, but this is a shot of the install that's going into my car this weekend. Please excuse the blurriness of the shot, the lighting is bad for camera phones.

I know the right side will block the yellow distance bar in navigation mode, but oh well. The Mute, Menu, and the + and - stock buttons were removed through ResHack and replaced by Sb.

The screen size is 800x480.

Looks great man. You got some new buttons in there too. Once V3 gets released, we are going to have to post a couple different skin packs.

Frodo or other admins: Can we get our own sub-forum under support apps yet? It would be nice to have all the SKINbedder, iGSkinner, and iGLaunch threads moved into a sub forum. Once we are a little less "beta" I'm hoping there will be lots of "skins" posted for many different apps.

So far I have heard of people using our program with iG, TMO (well, just me), Net Stumbler, and RockNES. Has anybody used it with anything else?

I have the same exact issue. It worked one time in which it embedded great and worked great. I closed it out and have not been able to get it to embed again. I made no changes to the ini file and my screen looks identical to Cheekz.

I have this on my desktop and don't have the GPS receiver connected so the nag screen comes up (no big deal for me to click ok), could this be the problem? I know there is a workaround but on my desktop it's fine.

BTW, I tried loading iG first and I tried loading through SB and the results are the same.

Try it with a gps receiver plugged in. It doesn't have to have a sat lock, just be plugged in. That is the problem. It is wierd, but that is what heppened to me as well.

Great App..

I'm also trying Skinbedder with Net Stumbler, but I will wait for 3.0 since because of the lack of keyboard shortcuts in NS I will have to use AutoIt for some of the buttons.
Who else is using NetStumbler? Searched but I couldn’t find any reference to it.

ive tried using netstumbler several times.. its just that window title bar changes every time u launch the application.. ive tried it with the new .40 version and the older version.. same thing each time..
