? This is very strange. It works for me at home, at work, and in my car... and it works for Ol33l too. Putting the images in the same directory as SKINbedder.exe should not work unless you delete:

[SKINbedder]
ImageDirectory=...

from the iGuidance.ini file. Did you do that Bravellir?

The Form and Panel colors are gone because there will just be a full-screen transparent graphic on top instead. It will have all the buttons in one BMP file as well as any "border art" you may want (like TJ's skin).

EDIT: The buttons are done very poorly now because I just copied the button code from the old version and merged it with the new embedding stuff. (that is why [SKINbedder] ImageDirectory= is still there at all... it will be gone in V3)

This is a lame attempt with NetStumbler. Some of the buttons don't work properly (they close skinbedder ) because of the windows class and name problem and I didn't skin the open dialogue yet.

Please note that I'm using a localized XP, so correct the paths..

The problem with NS and window identification it’s worse then ever. Since we can now use the windows class, I opened AutoIt info and tried to find the class name, only to find out that it changes on every session.

This is and example of 3 consecutive runs of NS:

Afx:00400000:8:00010011:00000000:00210CF1

Afx:00400000:8:00010011:00000000:059E0B7D

Afx:00400000:8:00010011:00000000:0B1F0AF5

I think that this means that it would be impossible to "catch" the damm thing??

I will make it so once a window is embedded, it will not un-embed if the name changes. I had done that, but I couldn't figure out any other way to remove window containers once the window closes and I wanted to release 2.999 ASAP. I am aware of this problem with Apps that change their name and it will definatly be fixed in V3. It is VERY strange that the window class can change. That doesn't make sense at all.

ok... so wired: Try moving all of the images to the same directory as SKINbedder.exe and then just delete those 2 lines from iGuidance.ini.

Search the forums (and I actually think it might be in this thread, but not sure) there is a fix for this. The window name changes depending ont he name of the file it is creating. There is a way to force the name of the file to be the same, so that the window name does not change.

Nope.

Is it possible because the INI is from the last SB that we need to "turn on" the buttons like in the last version, where they needed to be activated? and we are missing that part of the INI?

I don't under stand what you mean. I don't remember ever having to "turn it on" or "activate" buttons. You do need the [Button] section which lists B0=, B1=, B2=..., but that is included.
