    Skinbedder help

    I am trying to embed OziExplorer using SKINbedder but for now just learning how to use it with Calculator & Notepad but not having much luck. I can get the 2 programs to run but they don't seem to embedded. I could get it to work with version 2 but not 2.999

    The ini files I am using are at http://www.westcountry.com.au/aaron/embed.rar. No doubt it will be something stupid or obvious I am doing wrong but can't see it at the moment

    Um... the ini-file format has totally changed. Your ini files look like you just cut & paste them from your old V2 ini files. Go back to the ini files that come with 2.999 and just change stuff, don't add stuff from the old ini files.

    All the stuff you put in Skinbedder.ini doesn't do anything. Only the 2 lines that were in it originally do something. Most of the setting have moved in to {Sub-Dir}\{Sub-Dir}.ini.

    Edit your Notepad.ini and Calculator.ini and make them look more like the iGuidance.ini that comes with 2.999. SKINbedder 2.999 will not try to embed anything unless it sees "Embed({Section})" in its Startup Script.

    Take a look at the new format and then post here if you still have questions.
