Well, I don't know how to make it much easier. There is a single up graphic and a single down graphic per "SkinLayer" that can have multiple buttons. You still have to define all of the button co-ordinates within each SkinLayer, but you now position the SkinLayers with the 4 borders same as you do for embedded windows. You could try using Visual Designer (found on this board) to make it easier. All of the above images have 2 SkinLayers, one with Left_Border=0 and one with Right_Border=0. The 4 button co-ordinates are the same for each side. Check out the ini-file I posted above to see how it all works.
If you have any suggestions of how I could make skinning easier, I'm all ears.

Hehe... I think the new system will work better. You just align the SkinLayers using 0, 1, or 2 of the four boarder variables and then the co-ordinates for all the buttons within that SkinLayer are always fixed.
iG OSK, posted here so mercury7 can see it when creating a SKIN.
This doesnt work integrated into Frodo does it? Only for use in Centrafuse??
It will work on its own and with any front-end as an external app. I just tried to get it to embed into Frodo and now I finally know what Ol33l was talking about...
Frodo does not allow you to specify a "Window Title" or "Class Name" to embed. It will only embed pre-defined D3, iG, or Routis. I tried to have SKINbedder pretend to be both D3 and Routis by putting it in the correct directory and changing the Sb "Window Title". Unfortunately that is not enough for FP, it will only embed if the "Class Name" is the same as well.
Hopefully in the future Frodo will allow you to embed any app by specifying your own "Window Title" and "Class Name" (as well as file-path), but for now the only way to get it to work would be for me to change the class name of Sb to the class name of either D3 or Routis (I wouldn't want to emulate iG as it will be running and Sb & FP would be fighting over it).
Unfortunately I can not make the Sb class-name configurable... it has to be done on design-time and compiled in. I can compile and post a .exe with the proper class name for D3 or Routis and that should work (Ol33l: Did you ever try that with iGSkinner?).
I will try it tonight and then I will post it. You will be recieving a "Destinator3.exe" (that is actually SKINbedder). You will place it (along with SKINbedder.ini and the iGuidance SKIN folder) in C:\DestinatorApps\Frontend. Then you will choose D3 as your GPS app in FrodoPlayer (without external GPS app checked) and it should work. ...we will see.
Edit: Oh, and you will have to edit iGuidance.ini and set the caption to the "Window Title" for D3 (Caption=Destinator 3 - [Dest3.1])
Here's the progress on the new keyboard. Is there anything the needs to be changed, or does it look good so far?

Well, a limitation of delphi is that it's class names have to start with a T. That's why I was not able to imitate iG's classname in delphi for iGSkinner.Originally Posted by RPM_VR4
I didn't try it with D3.
