Yay... My TSkinLayer component has now been ran for the first time. Still a lot of work to do, but here's a teaser. I doubt it will be ready this week. I have high hopes for next week though.

How do you do the edges on the diagonal part of those buttons? Is there some alpha blending going on or did you just do the corners very well?

No AlphaBlending, it's just what you see with the rest of the graphic in Fuschia.

BTW PURDoom: I tried out iGMod last night to try and get some ideas, but it didn't work for me. It loads ok and the View and Zoom buttons work, but the "Clock" main-menu button does nothing when I click it. I tried downloading it from 2 of the 3 "mirrors" (the 3rd one needed registration or something) and then I even tried the "alpha" version on page 6 and it didn't even show any of the buttons for me.

I havent seen that bug before. For the time being try not having the gps info on when you load iguidance; then it wont embed the gps info. The code to make that behave as a menu icon is very dirty (watching where the mouse is and if the mouse button is clicked) and once I figure out how to hook the messages going to the iguidance image then that should work better.

My goal is to eventually have something that works transparently with centrafuse (as if it was part of centrafuse).

When I click the watch icon it does depress, but when I let it go it doesn't do anything (except un-depress). I have not tested it with the GPS Info window open, only with it closed. I do have a ResHacked iGuidance.exe that removed the Menu & Mute buttons (but not the "Menu" white text... is it possible to remove that too?).

For the menu text I would imagine you would want to change somewhere in the resource or the hex of iguidance some 4 characters that say Menu to 4 space characters (ascii 32).

The menu button "should" just press the enter key in the same way the zoom + button presses the up key. In alpha 4 there is no difference in the code for menu and zoom+ (except for whats written in the skin ini file) so give that a shot.

Great to see you working with purdoom, IGMod is my other favorite program would be cool if you could combine the feature of these two programs.

RPM_VR4: The edges on those buttons are bery good. Nice and clean When i tried to do the same i still see a sliver of pink...whats the difference with yours?? Any special tech?? You mind posting a couple of those buttons...psd...png...or bmp. Whatever format there in. Or email them to me if ya have the time bro..
