I haven't attempted making it "Always On Top" as I want other apps (Front End) to be able to still fully control as previously...

You could make it always-on-top send all the keys to Ozi, then make it not always on top. Depending on if your front end "minimizes" when you switch away or not, it might work fine even if you just leave it always-on-top.

Also, I think if you make it transparent it will stay on top. You can remove a color or you can make the whole window alpha-blended. If you don't want to do either, just make the alpha-blend 254. You will never notice 1-bit of transparancy.

    Smile Ozi Info in front

Thanks for all the help RPM...

I finally just worked out that if I don't use Alpha-blending and don't use any transparent color, the app stays in front properly. Now I'll just have to hide that embedded window and bring it back into focus each time I want to change its visibility.

Cool. When you are ready, please post the skin in the skins sub-forum with screen-shots and all. I can't wait to see it (even though I don't use Ozi).

I've had a look at your list of functions in the thread "V3 Questions" and am still having problems getting something to work...

If I embed Subsonic's OziInfo app after the main Ozi window, it sits in front quite happily... What I can't work out is how to hide this embedded window and then show it again.

I've tried AutoIt scripts like setting the window show / hide etc but I can't get it to find the window if it's embedded... These scripts are fine if the window is not embedded, but then when I switch applications in Road Runner, the "On Top" window "OziInfo" is then left on top of RR.

Unless you or someone else reading this has some ideas, the only one I have left is to make the button in RR set OziInfo window to OnTop=0 when I leave OziExplorer then have to press another button to make it visible and on top again when I go back to it.

Somehow I think this will be a bit easier with SkinbedderOS when it's done

I'm not sure what you mean by hide the window. Can you close the window and then re-open/embed it again? I meant to have a Visable(Window:T/F) command but I did not add that. You can use Auto-It, you just have to tell it to search for sub-windows. LS has some scripts that do that. I can post 'em l8r tonight if you can't figure it out. If the window is embedded in Sb, then it should not be on top of RR when you switch away.

If you could post the AutoIT scripts it would be great.

The first line is what allows it to work even if Sb has it.
    Code:
    Opt("WinSearchChildren", 1)

    ;Connect
ControlFocus ("TechnoMotive Datalogger Command Screen", "&Connect", 1113)
    ControlClick("TechnoMotive Datalogger Command Screen", "&Connect", 1113)

Exclamation Update or lack there of...

Sorry guys, there's been very little progress recently... I've had a couple of system crashes and then got tied up with work.

I do have a working version installed on my test machine, so i'll try to clean up a couple of things and post it here soon.
