    Destinator

i want to make a skin for destinator pn/6 and cant get it to embed in skinbedder! i managed to get iguidance embedded with the window-name "iguidance". The window-name of desti pn/6 is "destinator", but it wont embed. Can anyone give me a hint or as anyone tried yet...iam not familiar with skinbedder yet.
How do i get the class name ....i tried with winspector and it says something like "afx:10000000:0" under class....could that be the classname???

if you dont know what destinator pn/6 looks like.....look here:
    D6 window name

you can get it from centrafuse if you want to try and help me....
    Thx

Edit: it embeds standalone perfectly in Roadrunner...so it should work with skinbedder....

God that is ugly! Why would you want D6 if you have iG?

Anyway... you can just leave the class blank and it will work. If you use the iGuidance class (intellinav or something like that) or if you use the afx: thing, it won't work.

Also, are you sure it is just "destinator"? RR will embed partial matches, but Sb won't. Make sure you have the full title and leave the class blank. I use AutoIt window tool to find that info.

Iam using desti6 because its not "ugly" like you said....and here in europe we got no version 3 for iguidance....but iam testing various gps-prox to see whats best!

    Edit: iguidance v.1.2.1 is ugly

    hey RPM,
Does Skinbedder support SendMsgs?? This would be cool to control RR from within a fullscreen navigation! I didnt see it in Questions-Thread so i asume there isnt! Did somebody make a Autoit-Script to manage that?? Also it would be a nice feature for Skinbedder!
    Thx
    Supergong

    Edit:
Made a AutoIT-script for SendMsg and can control RR now....solution found !
Another Question: When i make new images in *.png format with AdobePhotoshop Skinbedder always crashes with the message:
    ---------------------------
    SKINbedder
    ---------------------------
Access violation at address 004615E8 in module 'SKINbedder.exe'. Read of address 00000000.
    ---------------------------
    OK
    ---------------------------
But if i edit existing images from BBIG with Photoshop and then save in *.png format it works!
What the hell iam doing wrong??? i use RGB mode 24Bit!
Would be nice if someone can help me....
    Thx

I had the same problem with PNG created with MS Paint when Iwas doing some basic testing... My solution was to make the PNG with Photoshop... Sorry I can't help.

I have noticed that too. It seems to always be fine with PS7 on one of my machines, but with PS CS, sometimes it causes that error. If you open the PNG in PS, copy all, do file->new, then paste, then save over the old one it always fixes it.

Please tell me if you figure out the problem. It is very frustrating
