Software to make a bootable backup image and send that over network to burn

    Hi.

I have two harddrives on my carpc, a master drive with my programs and operating system (only about 3gb full) and a slave with all my media. I would like a program which would allow me to easily make a backup of my master drive on a dvd and be able to boot into it to restore. I am aware that there are alot of programs which can do this, but which one can save the bootable image as a file? My carpc does not have a dvd burner, so I would like to make the image, send it over on my network to my laptop, and burn the image from there.

The carpc seems to be an environment where harddrive failures are more prone than the desktop, so I see regular backups as essential.

    Any recommendations?
