windows wont let me access front end files!

cant figure out this one out guys.. i have road runner installed with it, and winamp in the start menu. both open fine on startup, but if i exit out of road runner, windows wont let me open it again. same with winamp and my road runner config. its been doing it ever since i put em in the start menu. i think. it just says "you may not have permission to view this file" or something like that. i tried taking everything out of the start menu and it still does it. need help. thanks.
