MOnline very nice work so far, I really like the look of it already.
Just adding this post to let you all know I have been on vacation for a few weeks and have been busy with college. Will go on vacation in about 2 weeks again but I will try to post a new screenshot as soon as possible. Beware it has been upgraded a lot and has a lot of features..

So all I have a bit of a disappointment. My Pc crashed again and because I went on a holliday I haven't had much time to fix it. But there is even a worse problem. I lost all of my data. So I will have to start from scratch again. A bit of a disappointment for sure. But still I will do this one better then ever.
BUT I NEED YOUR HELP !!!
Because I am starting all over I will need to decided what my frontend should include. I think the most important thing is skinning. I have made a list of what would be nice to add:
- Skinning
- Music Player
- Video Player
- Navigation
- Rear View Camera
- Plugin Based
- Phone Support (NOT IN THE FIRST RELEASE)
So let's start over. This time do it right. I would also like to know how skinnable you would like the system to be.
With Kind Regards,

So A nice quick update:
The framework is nearly complete. When done I will be writing plugins so you can actually use it. The framework deals with sounds, display size, plugins, input but the real challange will be to create a nice skinnable plugin. Will post screenshots as soon as possible.

A BIG UPDATE this time. I have been working on my framework. As of today I am able to build screens using text files. Below you are able to see an example of this. (its not that great but still its the idea that counts)
And this is the textfile that makes it all possible:
*EDIT*PHP Code:[OBJECTS]
background = IMAGE
lblTitle = LABEL
button0 = BUTTON
button1 = BUTTON
button2 = BUTTON
button3 = BUTTON
button4 = BUTTON
button5 = BUTTON
button6 = BUTTON
button7 = BUTTON
button8 = BUTTON
button9 = BUTTON
[OBJECT VALUES]
background = 0, 0, 800, 480, background.jpg, y
lblTitle = 7, 8, 286, 34, ICES FRAMEWORK, 0, 0, 255, 22, y
button0 = 10, 100, 100, 30, knop1.bmp, knop2.bmp, y
button1 = 190, 100, 100, 30, knop1.bmp, knop2.bmp, y
button2 = 10, 140, 100, 30, knop1.bmp, knop2.bmp, y
button3 = 190, 140, 100, 30, knop1.bmp, knop2.bmp, y
button4 = 10, 180, 100, 30, knop1.bmp, knop2.bmp, y
button5 = 190, 180, 100, 30, knop1.bmp, knop2.bmp, y
button6 = 10, 220, 100, 30, knop1.bmp, knop2.bmp, y
button7 = 190, 220, 100, 30, knop1.bmp, knop2.bmp, y
button8 = 10, 260, 100, 30, knop1.bmp, knop2.bmp, y
button9 = 190, 260, 100, 30, knop1.bmp, knop2.bmp, y
[ACTIONS]
So as you can see this is a nicer "Skin" buttons work but have not added any text yet (btw low res image)
So tell me what you think.

Thanks for your reply sporty_drew. It is easy to skin and that is also the main purpose. As you can see in the image above I added a Infill station picture and buttons work(they dont have any text yet and stuff but just to get an idea).
I will also release a nice skinning program. So I wonder if my frontend is gone be a hype 2.
PS. It's not that hard to program it![]()

Time will tell. Just the fact that you will have a skin editing program will draw alot of people to try it. I myself like editing skins with text for some reason.
I hope to get into programing this next year in school, but for now I'll stick to my photoshop
You're using winamp, right?

Hi,
Thanks again, I guess you are right having a skinnable app is always good. Have not written the music plugin yet but I am still wondering what to use. Because I could create a winamp plugin so you are able to listen to the music trough winamp. But because I saw a lot of people having problem with winamp it might be usefull to write my own music player (without using windows media player). Maybe I will just do both
.
If you have any more idea's on what I should include in my program all tips are welcome. The biggest problem is going to be creating a nice basic skin.
