    This is just for running the cars, I dont think this has anything to do with media, etc... But I guess it could be added.

    You mean this OS is going to replace the car's ECU. i don't believe so. This is probably for OEM navigation/hdd music etc. Obviously these OEM units have operating systems. This is just the development of a newer, more mainstream one.
