    Software control of Audigy?

    How can you control the functions of the Audigy sound card through your own front end, rather than using the supplied utilities? Things like the echo effects, for example? Is there some Creative API or do you use DirectSound or what?

    I would really appreciate any info you might have.

    I think people really just don't know. You may be able to play around with EAX, but I don't know how you might get the effects to be global ones. Creative does have a developer site, you might want to register there and ask. If you do find out, please post back here, as I am interested in the results as well.
