My insane/crazy/could change the way UI's work forever idea

Hey everyone. It's been a while and my car has been in and out of commission (NEVER LEND CARS TO FRIENDS!!!!!). Anyhow, I've had this idea that started with car PC's and I think it would be great, I just have no idea how to get started. So my idea involves keystrokes, specifically mouse keystrokes/macros. In so many words, instead of looking at the screen while driving to search for say, a song, why not draw out the letters on the touch screen? If mouse macros could be made (I'm looking into this) then it shouldn't be that hard to implement. This would work well since the Winamp search is very accurate. Take this a step further: why not use a macro while playing music or watching video to go directly to GPS? Have a macro to go to main menu? Etc etc... Please tell me that my idea is not off the wall because I think it would be sweet and I really want to try and get this going. Is this idea really that crazy/out there?

Yep, my bad. After some google work I came here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mouse_gesture#Windows

How hard would this be to implement into roadrunner?

Edit: I'm assuming road runner runs on some kind of VB, so macros could be used to open different context menus, correct?

Also, I'm looking at Brass for the implementation.
