Thread: Looking for a program.

I am looking for a program to run my computer. I have listed some important features and then some that would be nice.

My hardware is as follows
fv24
i have to run winme with the fc24, there are no drivers to make the tv out video work correctly with any higher os and win 98 is to buggy for me.
celeron 800
1gig pc133ram
soundblaster live! in the only pci port
irman on the only com port
atx psu
redant 7" widescreen lcd display
fairly large hard drive (a 60gig 5400rpm maxtor or a 100 gig 7200 rpm ibm) i havent decided yet


Could somebody recommend me a program?

CONTROLL WITH IRMAN RECIEVER
I want to be able to use an irman and be able to define buttons on my remote to do specific things in the program.

MP3 PLAYBACK.
I want the program to give me basic functions for playing mp3s. I also want it to have some type of menu that will allow me to move around my directiories and load any directory into the mp3 player, like cobraIII does.

DVD playback
I want to be able to watch dvd's. becouse I have a widescreen display i want to be able to display in a 16:9 format. powerdvd has an option to uncheck "maintain aspect ratio" and the picture then fills the screen, that would be fine.

AVI AND DIVX PLAYBACK.
basically the same as above. this is why cobraIII dosent work for me, I cant get the movie player to fill the screen.

SUPPORT FOR SOME KIND OF RADIO
I use an fv24 and already have a soundblaster live in the pci slot, so a usb tuner would be preferable. cobraIII dosent have this either.

OPTIONAL STUFF

SUBWOFFER VOLUME
my souldblaster live has a front/rear/and subwoffer output. I dont use the rear output, but i do use the sub and it would be nice to controll the subwoffer volume from inside the program with my remote instead of having open the creative mixer and adjust it with the mouse.
