    okay i figured out the screen minimizing issue but i still get no video when i switch to another song, whats up with that? I switched to a regular skin in winamp and it worked without any problems.

    How did you fix the minimize issue? Whenever I hit the minimize button in the top right, nothing happens. The close button (X) works though...

    Awesome! Great work.
    One question:
    I am using it on my carputer and the keyboard is far away... How do you search for an artist in the library without keyboard? Is there any OSK that can be configured so it pops up whenever the cursor is located in the search form?

    Thank you for your help.

    I've tried roadrunner, tried centrafuse, all in an effort to get the simplicity and ease-of-use I know and love from winamp. Even stretches to fit a 16:9 screen, wahoo!!

    Works great on my version of winamp, 5.541. I think I'm going to use this on my desktop as well

    Just one thing that would make this skin perfect: I'd love to see a one-touch enqueue option. Only because I love on-the-fly playlists, and my touchscreen somehow doesn't understand that when I use my pinky I want to right-click. Weird, right?

    Looking foreward to equalizer and hey, how the heck does one go about making their own skin?

    If there was a way to implement a long press on the TS to bring up a right click menu, this problem could be solved.

    So does this awesome skin work great in roadrunner and if so do you have to winamp 5.x?

    It's a skin for WinAMP so it wouldn't work for RR.

    I've done this. I just emailed Arby for permission to post the update here, but feel free to PM me for it.

    I made 2 changes to the skin:
    1. replaced the Info button on the left sidebar with Enqueue. I did this because in my car I want the info to always be on anyway.
    2. separated the colour of the currently playing track from the colour group where it belonged, so that I could edit that colour separately from the rest of the skin (before that the colour of the bottom half of the information panel text, the buttons text and colours, and the colour of the currently playing track were all tied to the same colour group == same colour, and I wanted to use the Steel Blue scheme, but with the playing track in red so it would be easy to tell apart from the rest of the light blue tracks during daylight).

    For the Enqueue button to work you will need to add a new global hotkey for General: Add current selection to playback queue in the main winamp preferences. The key combination used is Ctrl + Alt + Q.

    Edit: also added support for foreign characters in the information panel.

    Arby gave his blessing for the update, so here it is:

    Files:
    ArbyFullscreenWA5--modified.2010.02.22.rar Just unrar and place the directory in your Winamp\Skins\ directory.

    1. For Enqueue to work, you need to set a global hotkey for queuing selected, as described in the above post.**

    2. Foreign characters are supported simply because I removed the skin's font pack (which is Latin characters only). This forces the skin to use whatever font you have set up for Winamp, and if your windows is already setup to support foreign characters, and your winamp font is set to a font with foreign character support for your desired languages, then it will work in all locations of the skin.

    3. Colour schemes: I've made a few changes (as described in the previous post), here's what you need to know:
    Inside the Skin's xml directory there is a file called color-schemes.xml right-click and Edit to edit it.

    Here is what a single colour scheme looks like inside that file:
    The numbers are RGB values. I'm not sure what colour-scale it actually uses, so you'll just have to figure out your own colours by playing with the values.

    Bold text in the quote is a comment, do not include it in your colour scheme file.
    <gammaset id="Steel Blue -- modified"> Name of scheme
    <gammagroup id="Backgrounds" value="-4048,-4048,-4000"/>
    <gammagroup id="Backgrounds2" value="-4096,-4096,-4096"/>
    <gammagroup id="MainBackground" value="-2000,-2000,-1000"/>
    <gammagroup id="Frame" value="0,0,0"/> button frame colour
    <gammagroup id="Selected" value="-3500,-3500,-2700"/> background colour for selected track
    <gammagroup id="Sliders" value="-1000,-1000,0"/> volume and track time/seeker colour
    <gammagroup id="Text1" value="-1000,-1000,0"/> text colour for playlist tracks, and song title in the information panel. This is also the colour for the playlist buttons.
    <gammagroup id="Text2" value="0,0,0"/> text colour for the rest of the text in information panel and the buttons in the skin.
    <gammagroup id="PlayingText" value="-1024,-4096,-4096"/> This is the colour of the track currently playing.
    </gammaset>

    4. As you can see in the picture, I bumped the Shuffle and Repeat buttons up. In my car I don't use the Volume controls, so that brings Shuffle up to the top. This works well with the way my GPS software is overlayed ontop of Winamp (see second picture, and my apologies for the poor quality.)

    ** I tried using relative paths in the function calling the keyboard combination for the enqueuing action, but it doesn't work for all computers (e.g. works on my win7 desktop, but not on my laptop when it's running winxp, or on the carpc running winxp), so I've changed it to absolute paths.
    What this means for you: your winamp must be in C:\Program Files\Winamp\ in order for this to work. It's possible to run a script to prompt you to enter the winamp installation path and recompile the skin, but for now I'm assuming we're all using 32-bit versions of windows, and that winamp is installed in its default location of C:\Program Files\Winamp\. Let me know if you want specific locations added.

    I have also started playing around with adding a 5th panel (and a button replacing the Mini button) for the Jump-to-File (JTFE) window, including an on-screen-keyboard.
    The idea is the have another visual window (like the Playlist, Media Library, Visualization and Video panels) for the JTFE, where you can use an on-screen keyboard built into the skin to type in your query.
    Whether I actually do this depends on the complexity involved, the possibility of embedding the JTFE window into a panel in the skin, and my free time... So it may come out tomrrow, next week, or even in the summer... No promises on that one, but I'll keep you guys posted about progress.
