If you are using an i pod.... why not just use the i pod?
I've been searching around and haven't found anything yet. I'm trying to see if any popular front end could easily be controlled via a web interface. That way something like an ipod could control stuff like changing songs/files, rolling up and down windows, etc.
If the developers are out there, it would be a pretty badass feature to build a real app for with the iphone sdk thats out now.
anyway, just looking for some input. thanks

I know that. I'm saying it would be a cool added control, like if your in the back seat with your girl and you wanna change something, or your hanging around the car working on something and your listening to music and wanna change a song without climbing into the car. Am i alone in thinking this could be cool?

Whatever you need to do... but what is the status quo that I have not met?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Status_quo
Status quo is a Latin term meaning the present, existing state of affairs. To maintain the status quo is to keep the things the way they currently are. The related phrase status quo ante, means "the state of things as it was before."

I know I'm old school, but when did Ipods get internet access? Last time I looked "web interface" meant accessible via web browser.
O.K., did the google thing and found IPOD TOUCH. Also found VNSea, so what was the problem again? We've been using VNC and several other remote desktop applications for PPC, smartphone, Windows mobile devices for years. No special front-end or SDK necessary.
