    MPXF spectrum configurable?

    Is it possible to create a 5 wide by 2 high spectrum doobry on MPXf? I love the UI of it - the menu system fits perfectly on a 4x20 and is very handy, I just want the menu system available but when playing the mp3s I want the screen to show a small spectrum graphic and the vitals - name/band/album/times.

    Using a winamp plugin I got the configuration I wanted, but I want it from DOS. All I want to know is whether or not its possible, not how to do it - save y'awl the hastle I'll put the effort in myself once i know its a do-able thing.

    Its a long time since I played with the setup of MPXF.

    I think if you look in the MPXFTSR.CFG file, look for the switch/lines
    ; %eXX - Display equalizer on 1 line. (XX is range 00-28)
    ; %eqX - Display equalizer on 2 lines. X is 1 or 2.
    ; %eNL - Display EQ on N lines, where L is the current line

    That may do what you want.

    cool, yep, my eyes didnt spot that - cheers for the pointer.

    James - just waiting for his lcd to arrive - I sense it may be some time from eio - they arent the most prompt of suppliers it seems
