small proggy to shut down my lcd?

does anyone know of a program that will powerdown my lcd. I want to to do exactly what it does when i leave it for the 10 minutes i have set in the screen saver option, but immediately when i click an icon or press a button (keyboarde shortcut) so when i move the mouse it comes back awake. thanks,
    Etrik

you could run a black screensaver, and create a shortcut for it until the saving option turns on

they're named .scr, when you double-click it, it starts.
creating a shortcut to a screensaver is just like any shortcut, I think they are in windows\system or \system32.

this program only runs when you click a link for it, and in the link, you just need to put in the command parameters you want. one of its options is to turn monitors into standby mode.
