    Wi-Fi Sniffer

    What's is good wireless sniffer for windows?
    I'm gonna use it in my carPC with touch screen so simple program would be great.
    It would be nice it it can notify when there is open connection.
    I tried to search web but couldn't find one I'm looking for.

    ... but if you're actually looking for a sniffer... well then Sniffer Pro by NAI is the best I've come across.

    what is your goal? to have free wireless internet? if so connecting to a network you do not have permission to is illegal. if your goal is to just map access points then netstumbler is what you want with a gps device.
