You can get the VIN number through OBD-II. From there you can decode the VIN number to get all that information. Search google for "vin decoder". There are lots of free online decoders and you might find a downloadable decoder too. There is also lots of information available on the VIN number structure so you could build a decoder yourself.
cheers, I'll read up on VIN, and work out the structure.
