    Winamp Question

Ok ok..I have spent 3 days searching these forums so I dont get jumped on about not searching....I just cant find the answer that I am looking for. The posts that I found had dead links and are very old.

I have a 5.6 LCD and I want WINAMP to be able to fill up the screen. NOT the playlist, not anything else....just the actual player. WINAMP 3 will not let you resize to the perfect ratio...its either too big or too small. I have seen pics of people fitting winamp on their LCDs but I have received no answer from those people.

I have tried Cobra, media engine, and auto play but they all screw up on me in windows xp.

    Any advice would help.

    Re: Winamp Question

cant be done with winamp 2.8x.... maybe your seeing ppl using a winamp 2.8x look and feel skin with winamp 3?

i would be worrying about your XP install if AP/ME and cobra all die on your machine... I develop AutoPlay on a XP professional OS and run it in the car on Win98 all perfect...

    Thanks for the reply..

No, my xp install is perfect....its just each of those mp3 apps mess up in different ways.......

I think the problem I had with autoplay is the key binds would not save and I couldnt get the actual player to fit on my LCD window to where it looked half way decent.

    Thanks though.

The answer for your question is in the forum but not in a thread with the obvious subject.

    Show me your dash/displays!

You can use the ao plugin for winamp 2.81. and totally customize the size of everything.
You can download it here. Try it before you give up.

either that or run winamp in double size mode (ctrl+d) that will almost make it full screen then just up the size of the playlist text.
