simple program like radmin would do this as it allows you to see your remote pc desktop via internet connection
probably something more simpler than this but its just a suggestion to say yes its definately possible
I sync my carpc with my laptop using the Microsoft program SyncToy wirelessly on my wifi network. I see some programs and commands which allow you to remotely shutdown a computer. But I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to remotely put a computer into standby/hibernation, maybe with a script or something. The reason why I rather standby and not shutdown my laptop is because it runs Vista and takes forever to boot.
I usually wirelessly sync my files right before I drive off to school/wherever, so it would be more conveniant to not have to run back into the house to turn off the laptop each time.
