"Thesycon's DPC Latency Checker is a Windows tool that analyses the capabilities of a computer system to handle real-time data streams properly. It may help to find the cause for interruptions in real-time audio and video streams, also known as drop-outs. "

I myself, use AudioMulch to process my audio in the car, and I have to be very aware of my CPU loading/latency for proper performance...
For example, I'm trying to setup and run 96KHz/24-Bit processing (for DVD-A), but it's on the borderline of what
my system can handle.
Maybe I'll be able to find bottlenecks and open them up?

I haven't tried this yet, but it looks very promising.
