Same here. But I also use iTunes for the iPod.

This is why I do not like the FE around.... Difficult to plug in and out different apps as usage changes...

    Also very interested in progress!

    Spotify for Androidx86...

Ok, i started to test this.

First i installed the Androidx86 package to my EeePC 901. Took about 15 minutes, actually less. Even with HDD format, partitioning and file copy.

Second, I went to shop Spotify and got the Premium licence with support for Spotify Mobile.

Then i went to AndroidMarket, where there was no Spotify at all
Then i opened web browser from the Asus and went to m.spotify.com, witch is the place where mobile version can allso be installed directly to phone via web.

It went suprisingly sweet, but (there is allways a but) the list of compatible devices has 57 smartphone versions that has Spotify sw available.
No suprise there are no Asus EeePC with Androidx86...
    -Thud- Against the wall here...

I figured out that iPad propably has PC HW inside, so i selected it from the list. It forwarded me to AppleStore but there were no Spotify, even Spotify pages suggest this.
    https://www.spotify.com/fi/mobile/overview/
Started to Googling around an found this:
    http://www.slashgear.com/spotify-for...store-0280161/
    -Crap-

So no luck there. The iPad should be most closest thing to a PC that Spotify Mobile version can be had but the official Spotify for iPad is still unavailable.

Other way around is to have x86 mobile version of Spotify
And yes, there are no sutch thing... Atleast yet.

So now i enjoy music from my Nokia Express Music phone and at my CarPC, just have to use standard UI, witch makes me stop on side of the road to select music

If anyone has ideas or suggestions i am more than glad to hear them.
The Android is so fast with x86 platform and no need for antivirus sw like i have now (on my 71 Citroen... Blaah!! ). Oh, and the Spotify Mobile is SWEET!

Of course if someone, with the skills and intrest, should actually do a Spotify plugin for Centrafuse, now that would allso make me happy...

I tried to think about functions that would not work with Androidx86 and came to the conclusion that there are a few functions wich might be difficult. To early for this summer season for this.

So I am back to square one, getting Spotify to work in RR. Actually, I am minus a few squares, have to reinstall EVERYTHING to the CarPC first...
