Help needed to change motherboard logo

Hey y-all..

i've posted a request on the sticky (regarding bios logo change) and i see that no one enter due to it being an old thread.

can someone please help ?

I know all about those logo changers but none of them even comes close to what has been done here.

those other programs only allow 16 colors which is...

what i asked at the sticky is that if someone will be kind enough to create a bios logo for me and embed it in my bios upgrade rom.

If I'm not mistaken, you are limited to 16 colors. (a bit unsure on this one)..
What I do know, is that for your BIOS chip.. the size of the BIOS rom/img file need to be the very exact the same before and after a new logo have been hacked into it.

You do realize that all the ability is dependent on the motherboard you have.
Some don't allow change of the boot image. If your motherboard is one of those, then you're S.O.L., plain and simple.

Honestly, if your motherboard manufacturer doesn't offer a utility to change the BIOS image, I wouldn't bother messing with it. It sounds as if you're unsure about a lot of things, and that could likely lead to screwing up your BIOS beyond usability.

Hey you guys..

as it turns out - there is a special software at the gigabyte website that enable you to change the boot logo of the motherboard (called: facewizard)

any way, now to my next problem..

is there any way to change the order of loading windows (xp) so that i won't have to see the desktop and the start button and will only go straight to CENTRAFUSE ?

if you didn't understand - i want to boot windows directly into centrafuse (as i do now) only i don't want to see the desktop (even for a second) - i want to create the illusion of a regular car stereo.

look for making a program your shell. That's what you want.
