SiS video driver for Intel D201GLY

Not sure if this is the right forum, but here's my question. I was wondering if anyone has the original SiS video driver that came with this board. I just re-did my system, but can't find my driver disk. No problem I thought, I'll just download them from Intel, besides they'll me more updated. Well, they all work great except the video driver. I'm using it with a Xenarc 700TSV and it seems to have problems when set to 800x480. The Xenarc auto senses it as 640x480 and it does not look clear, though the aspect does look like it's 800x480. Also the phase will not set correctly. The screen is shifted about 3/4" to the left and wraps around to the right side of the screen. I did not have any of these problems with the older driver. Long story short, don't update it unless you have a different setup which this hopefully won't affect.

The driver I'm using is Ver:3.82 dated 1/17/2008 from here:

So if any has an older driver, the one from the original disk, or a link where I can get it, I would totally appreciate it. TIA!

Hummm, that's weird then. Why would it start acting so strange on this install? I've already uninstalled and re-installed with the same results.

800x480 is not a standard resolution so that's why it may not show as a selectable option, but you might be able to try the " right click on desk top > display properties > advanced > adapter > list all modes " option and manually set it to 800x480... not sure if it will keep on a reboot though.

The SiS driver provided with this board can be set to 800x480, and it does set it to that. The problem is the Xenarc is auto sensing it as 640x480. This problem never existed before I decided to re-do my system. I may just end up trying to reload windows again and see what happens, though it'll probably have to wait until next weekend

When I had this motherboard a long time ago I downloaded a newer version of the SiS driver on the SiS website. It was one version number higher than the one provided by Intel.

Thanks, I'll have to check it again. I did go there, but wasn't sure which driver to download. The search for S3 Mirage, IIRC, yielded several different results.
