I have been using XP SP3 for 2 years with my system. I connect to the internet via wireless and using my LG Verizon phone via DUN. Yesterday I noticed network problems. Windows was telling me I had limited or no connectivity. I was in my driveway where I have a strong home network and assumed my PC connected to a different network that was weak. This was not the case. I began my trouble shooting. Restarts, disable and re enable network adapter etc.. So I decided to just connect with my phone as I alwasy do, and i get the same warning with that connection. So now it's obvious it is not hardware but windows. I started googling away and have tried a multitude of fixes to no avail. I have tried winsock fix, winsock resets via the command prompt etc.. Does any buddy have any idea where I could search? What this could be? Thank you
If I recall correctly Service Pack 3 has only been around for just over a year, so if you've been using Service Pack 3 for two years, what version of Service Pack 3 are you using? Is it a "Release Candidate"?
What winsock fixes have you done? Can you detail those?
Have you tried removing the adapter in Device Manager and rebooting?
Are either of your network adapters set to static IPs?

No, everything has been automatic. My laptop connects to my network fine and others in the neighborhood. I can use my phone to have my laptop connect. Nothing works on the car system. I have tried uninstalling both software wise, and physically. I have reinstalled drivers etc..Nothing works..
