Same action as the go button - except from the enter button. People are used to pressing enter when their done typing something - makes it easier then having to realize nothing happened and then figure out theres a go button.
What do you mean trigger a navigate action? And how is that different than pressing the go button?

Just a shame I can't justify a carpc to use it on anymore.

you mean for instance: When in google, you type in a search term, and hit the enter button, it should do the same action as if you were on a PC where it starts the search? That's what it does now.
I've run out of room on the OSK :/. I already made the buttons from the original 100x100 80x80, I could shrink them to 60x60 if you think they'd still be moderatly easily touchable on a 800x600 screen

The backspace button is a must IMO. If you have an address in the address bar, ther is no way to errase it by touch.
Getting better and better!![]()

A couple things:
1) It doesn't run so well in wine, so you'll need a native Linux version.
2) Page should be zoomed in/out to fit the screen width. That way you don't have to scroll horizontally unless you are zoomed in.
3) resizing the screen should resize the web view.
Great work so far!

New version!
Sorry kev, I didn't do anything you mentioned yet. I did add simple skinning though. (And a backspace button!)

Looks alot better.....one other thing I noticed:
If you moved the page load status text from the bottom to just under the address bar you could regain a little screen area.

You can actually move it yourself! Take a look at main.skin and give it a whirl.![]()
1. It thinks .php is an unknown type and wants to download it.
2. What rendering engine is this using?
3. Awesome job so far!
4. Will you be releasing the source code?
