Interesting!
I've been working on a more touch friendly web browser for my frontend RevFE, and the way I'm writing it made it rather simple to just move it into its own program. Is there any interest in this as a separate program? It's rather simple at the moment but it should give an idea what I'm aiming for. I actually got the idea from Fennec, but Fennec is lacking in some options and will never be fully supported for the PC.

Edit (9/28/09):
New version. Added hotkey support, capslock(shift) and enter keys to the OSK.
ctrl+b : back

Edit (9/30/09):
New version. Simple skinning support, check out main.skin and osk.skin for details.
Edit (10/10/09):
New version: Add and remove of bookmarks works, and bookmarks saved between sessions.

Thanks for posting the screen shot, I had forgotten about that. Currently this browser supports flash and javascript but not embedded java applets. I'm adding some more navigation buttons and cleaning it up a bit. Ill release a new version this weekend. To anyone who has used fennec: what can I add to this that fennec has to make this more usable?

New version, added back/forward/stop buttons as well as a download manager. Currently the download manager will only download .rar, .zip and .jpg files. This will soon be changed, but for testing purposes and an alpha program I figure that's alright. I've also decided on a name for this: Carbon.

treetop: is that the same PC that the last version ran on? If not, you will need to install the visual c++ runtime, link here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
I'll assume it's the same PC you were running on before, and look into it.

A few suggestions:
* Theres a bug somewhere in the download code because 3/5 times i tried it I got "Page load failed".
* About 90% of the images show up as ? marks
* Theres no enter button on the on screen keyboard (but a nice space where one would fit)
But overall nice work....haven't seen anything else like this on here
