Thread: Emedding Midomi

I've been looking for a way to incorporate music recognition. I used to use tunatic, but as other threads have noted, it's way too small to be convenient. I found midomi.com works great, so I'm trying to find a way to embed it.

I'm pretty sure the website just uses an swf object to do the initial microphone recording. It then generates a url that looks something like

http://www.midomi.com/index.php?acti...m=voice_search

once you have that url, your home free.

The tricky part is getting the swf to play on its own. I used firefox to copy the one embedded swf file, but it didn't quite work standalone.


I don't have much experience with flash, anyone have an idea?
