Question Would it be possible to control backgrounds with a photocell?

Hi everyone, I am about to start my first Car PC install and, after playing with the Front End and GPS software, I had an idea that it might be possible to control when the skins and whatnot change from daytime mode to nighttime mode using the photocell that tells my headlights when to turn on. Its a Directed 545T system connected to my alarm

Depending on which frontend you're using it can be possible. You will need something along the lines of a Fusion Brain to read the headlight output from that device, and then activate a skin change based on if the device wants your headlights on or off.

RevFE - Super fast, modular frontend. Most powerful skinning engine in existence. Strong enough for an i7 made for a fitpc.
Just a shame I can't justify a carpc to use it on anymore.

Yes i was doing this with my fusion brain, photocell, and a little bit of programming knowledge.
