I was just wondering why I couldn't find the app! I'll just sit here drooling while I wait for it to show back up on the market

If it's going off the odbII usb dongle...some cars have a driver information center, does that information get relayed via odb or would that be a different project all together? I was searching around on the site and couldn't find any relevant information about it.

    Cannibal,
    Thanks for your support

I'll be re-publishing it again soon. (After work today hopefully).

As for DIC and such, I'm working on a separate project called VoyagerRC. After I gather enough information to make a useful app, I'll roll it all together into a single app called Voyager.

    EDIT:
Until then, use barcode reader to scan this:

    flippin' sweet! thanks mate!

I'm on the fence about doing the carPC thing. I have a head unit that does a lot of what I would want, and the droid picks up where the deck leaves off. I did the car pc thing years ago in a volvo, but as of right now I don't see the need for one after owning a droid. ODB bluetooth information is a whole different story tho ;D

Is there any feedback or logs you're looking for in particular when testing this software? Let me know if there's any way I can be of assistance.

    np!

Your best bet is to subscribe to the blog at gtosoft.blogspot.com where I announce the latest news. In the future I'll probably use that as one place to reach testers.

got my droid and just loaded voyagerconnect! i am very excited to get an obd2 reader and try it out!

I ran into another app called Trackmaster that has alot of aspects I really like. It logs gps, accell/g's, times laps, and lets you view all of the data overlaid on google maps. Trackmaster has a few plugins, but what would it take to get a voyagerconnect plugin for Trackmaster?

All they have to do is use the content provider, its extremely easy. Instructions and samples are in the Voyager manual:
