Windows Media Center now has an App Store:

Everything and everyone needs an app store and if the platform's developer isn't willing to make it happen, then those in the community will step up to make it happen. In the case of Windows Media Center the 3rd party plug-in ecosystem has always been one of the platform's biggest perks, but what Made for Media Center does is bring all these apps to you via a 10-foot interface and the ability to install 'em without breaking out a mouse or keyboard -- can't beat that. Right now everything seems to be free and at first glance it appears that all of our favorites are there. If you use Media Center there really isn't a reason not to check this one out.

    Link to the store.

So we have Twitter apps, Shoutcast, Movielistings.

I just installed a remote to use with my iPhone. So I can use swipe movements all over the interface. I just plan to rest the iPhone on the center console cover (maybe over on those anti slip pads for phones over the dash) and there we have it, a wireless remote for the Tablet. That and the SpaceNav should be plenty.

I think my Sequoia Tablet install will use the WMC as a front end, and CF and RR as plugin lauchers...So I would never see the main menu, but I would lauch click on Google Traffic Plugin and it would go directlly to the RR or CF versions of these plugins.

Will see if that's feasible...but for now, it's nice to have an app store.

Windows Media Center rocks, it's all I can say.

Rippling, just saw this post. I definitely wasn't intentionally ignoring you, sorry you thought I was.

I just tested the AppLoader plugin with WMC and it embedded perfectly. Just thought I would share...

No worries, man, I apologize for not waiting a bit more. Thanks for bringing my attention back to that plugin. I'm going to try it soon - being busy lately briging the tablet to windows 7, CF is installed, but barely.
