CarPC in 3D -first step to make frontend in 3D
We wrote our first preview of the software that will collect car sensor information and show your car 3D model on the computer screen. As you drive model will do the same "actions" as real car. So if you car is declining on the hill, you will see that on the screen.
Right now program support 6 degrees of freedom, on all 3 axis. + you can adjust the speed of wheels and you can turn the wheels.
Hardware sensor support only horizontal and vertical tilt as it uses 3d accelerometer. In future we will add gyroscope to detect car turns.
In the future we will do feature that will allow us to record the driving situation and car stability. So for example if you are doing stunts we will be able to compare you performance at each stunt you made.
Also program can interface with a computer game and some one over the internet can try to race you in the game while you are driving a real car.
