Thread: Mac + XP Problems. Need help!

Hopefully this is in the right section...

I just purchased a used mac mini. The previous owner was running Vista. I looked through the programs and did not see parallels or bootcamp so I am not sure how he got it to run vista.

I want to run XP, so I inserted the XP install disk, deleted the partition and went to install. I am getting an error saying it cannot copy driver.cab. I have the option of skipping, retrying, and exiting.

I am currently deleting the partition and reinstalling again (just to see if maybe it was a fluke)

Does anyone have any solutions/suggestions?
