    Windows XP

    I have read about people using Windows XP Embedded.
    Is this a stripped down version of XP or something?

    XP is the only system that I can get available for my car pc.

    How will my performance be running xp on the VIA 800mhz board?

    Windows CE.NET Platform

    XPE is basically a small custom build of XP that has all the driver and software compatibility of XP. Each image is custom built using a dev program. The image is custom to the project (for our case a car MP3/navigation/movie/whatever system)
    Im still learning what its all about but it looks AWESOME

    only problem is getting a hold of it

    One more question, can someone give me some tips on what to do to strip down XP as much as I can? I don't need networking or anything like that.
    EPIA 800, DWW-7VGA LCD w/Touchscreen, 256mb ram, dvd rom, ati radeon 7000 video card, 80 gb 3.5" hard drive.
