    Gesture Recognition!

I'm just starting my project and the idea occured to me. A touchscreen with gesture recogntion would eliminate any need for additional controls! everything could be programmed with gestures. I found this app:

    http://www.tcbmi.com/strokeit/

It's amazing.. freeware , only 127k.(I installed it on my home and work pc's now too Only problem is.. you need to hold your right mouse button in order to draw gestures. Can anyone think of a way to implement this app with a touchscreen without losing the ability to left click and drag icons etc.?

That app looks interesting, but alot less immediately useful than the one I posted. The app I found works alot like a palmpilot . You use your mouse (or touchscreen !) to draw shortcuts that execute specific commands/macros etc.

I haven't installed the program...but if you go to their screenshots there's an option where you can change the "draw gestures by holding:" I dunno what the other options are because it's a drop down box, but this might help you out. Let us know if you get it working because I'm very interested.

My PC's in and configured, just waiting on the touchscreen to put it all in the car!

The only options in that dropdown menu are 'middle, left, right mouse" I'm still stumped as to how to get it working with a touchscreen.
