Terran - that's what I'm counting on ... however based on some of the language on their website it appears that there may be a "redistribution" fee .... I'm pretty sure that this is just for vendors that re-sell the entire interface with a custom UI, but I want to make sure ...
That being said - Destinator rocks compared to all the other packages I've seen!
If you by any chance need additional testers, count me in for testing in Danish windows. Some of the other apps i have seen lack support for different languages.
Also the gps support is very much dependant on the location of the coder.
BTW did you see the gpsthing? havent got the link, but do a google search and it will turn up...
i got a few questions
is it possible to add for mp3s, a plugin feature? so we can run visual eyecandy like the winamp AVS stuff?
also is there a way you can add MP3/CUE ?..if you dont know what this is, its when you have 1 big mp3 file and a cue file and you use the cue file to change to the different tracks inside the 1 mp3
http://www.rz.uni-frankfurt.de/~pesch/#1by1 <---this program does it..i dont know if you can make something like this
Unibomber - haven't heard of the MP3 / CUE stuff ... thanks for the explanation. From a programming perspective it sounds pretty straightforward (just start playing X (milli)seconds into a track - and the cue file contains the offsets), though I don't think I'll be looking at it until some other more "mainstream" items are implemented.
Winamp Vis's are available, as are WMP9 vis's .... there's even a function to use Winamp vis's under Windows Media Player, though I'm still up in the air about releasing it right away.
I am designing my own CARPC and I would like to be a beta tester.
I am gunna use my carpc mainly in the summer, when I drive "pilot recovery" for A group called Austin Air Sports. These people come to Edinburg, TX from all over the world to break world long distance unpowered flight records.
