Hi Chester, just wondering if have you tested the Realtek 2382 on usb? reading back on this thread i think you said that the pci tuners and usb tuner are practicaly the same? If your interested or feel it would help the cause. I can send you my spare Realtek usb dtv/dab/fm tuner(EZCAP). Its brand new so it has all the software/drivers as well as toothpick antenna. Free of charge of course.

I'd suggest holding on to it for now pcmoto, the PCI cards are the entire USB card, with a pci to USB controller on it, thats the only difference.

So I think if it works on one it will work on the other.

But if any of the developers are keen on trying the USB version, it might be worth offering to them. I haven't trialled any of their work, so I wouldn't be the best person to give the hardware to

If you feel keen I wouldn't mind one to play with. Although it will take me a month or so before I have free time to do so.
My dev skills aren't huge but it is something I would like to learn.

Stretch, you have one of the CB venice modules dont you? If so, it would be good to see a comparison of the two units, in terms of reception, sound quality, error control (dropouts etc).

That would be a very interesting comparison but no I don't..
I have been following that other thread but it got long and messy, they seem to have endless troubles so might stick to something else
