Got it... http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...otVis-tool.exe
MS have removed it from one place and said its unavailble but you can still get it from the above link ?
Terran
MS like to do things like that. Why can't they just put such stuff on a archive machine with a link to it? That way people will still have access to it? It's one of the dumb idea they have. We have new stuff so let's desupport/kill all the old stuff eventhough 90% of the world still use them.

If it's stuck, force it. If it breaks it needed replacing anyway
Am I the only one who saw this?
"Please note that Bootvis.exe is not a tool that will improve boot/resume performance for end users. Contrary to some published reports, Bootvis.exe cannot reduce or alter a system's boot or resume performance. The boot optimization routines invoked by Bootvis.exe are built into Windows XP. These routines run automatically at pre-determined times as part of the normal operation of the operating system."

They only added that after everyone started downloading it, probably started to get swamped by support calls. I've shaved 10+ seconds off each of my machines by running it, I don't want to wait around rebooting until XP decides that it wants to optimize itself.
