Select which audio codec XVID/DIVX files use? ffdshow?

I was having a problem with Centrafuse not playing the audio on a DVD. So I installed AC3 Filter in hopes on getting audio back but no luck, AC3 Filter doesn't work with the modded audio drivers i'm using. So I installed ffdshow and got my audio back for DVD's. Awesome.

Next, the audio when playing XVID/DIVX files is really low, and because AC3 Filter doesn't work i'm at a loss. Is there anyway to tell XVID/DIVX files to use the ffdshow codec for the audio? I am able to raise the volume using ffdshow.

Well after some searching I found an application to select your default codecs for pretty much all media types. It also lets you disable the Windows 7 codecs permantly so Windows doesn't make undo the changes.

It's called Win7 DS Filter Tweaker.

In case anyone else needs it.
