FM dongle for radio stations software

I have one of these USB FM Dongles that can pickup HD TV stations and fm stereo radio stations. I have gotten it to work with WDSDR. I was wondering if anyone knows of a simple program/software for windows that would just let you play these FM stereo radio station and program them into memory so you could pick 1-10 for your favorite stations. any help would be appreciated.

    thanks

Sell it and buy a Silabs or ADS instant FM unit if your looking for a cheap FM radio. Supported in Driveline, CF and RR. After all we are only talking about a 10-20 dollar part. Good luck SNO

OK SNO, I bought 3 of these things off ebay for $15 with shipping. I let windows 7 install the drivers and use their Instant FM software and I get a screen that asks me to select the Instant FM Music device with no devices listed. then i get an error when I select cancel "error opening usb fm radio audio input, try again?" I have restarted and tried it on a windows 7 x64 pc. Same result. How do I integrate it into your frontend SNO? Let alone make it work in general....

You may have a problem being x64 this device came from the XP days and did have vista and win7 on the package but I am sure that would be a 32 bit driver and app. Have you tried running the install program via administrator rights. Just a though and I will try and find an answer. P.S. not my front-end software. I just support and use Driveline. Good luck SNO

    OK,'
I got it to work using the top Amazon review for the product.
    Here it is:
Many here say the included software doesn't work with Windows 7. Yes it does. You need to enable the radio. Plug in the radio and let W7 find and install the drivers, then go to Start > Control Panel (Category view) > Hardware and Sound > Manage Audio Devices > Recording tab. If the radio doesn't show up, right click anywhere in the window, wait a while and make sure "Show Disabled Devices" is checked. Right click on the radio and select "Properties". At the top, name it "USB FM Radio" (without the quotes). At the bottom, set "Device Usage" to "Use this device (enabled)". Click "OK" at the bottom, close Control Panel, click on the radio software icon, and enjoy.

    OK, SNO
I even got it to work with Driveline.
But I have one question maybe you can help me with. When I add the application and click on the shortcut, the App is soooo small. How/Can I change that?

OK you should be able to just use the radio in Driveline no need for the Instant FM radio app inside driveline if that's what you are talking about. Instant FM is the same as Silabs which clockwork just implemented a month or so ago. You might need to set it in settings page in Driveline I am not sure as I sent Clockwork my unit so he could add it to Driveline. Glad you got it working and posted the how to as well SNO

Guessing this old stuff is going to have issues in Windows 8.1. Especially Windows 10.
