    I don't mind if it's messy.. I would like to test it but I don't test private closed source software because I don't trust humans..

    No. I don't trust people. It's not possible. People lie and deceive each other all the time, and perhaps you are spreading a virus!

    Cool, Good idea -set me off on a sub project now!
    Just made my own version (Using throttle wheel instead though) - works well. I referenced MSDN for stick control.
    I've also used the inputs in from all of the joystick buttons and other axis, will be a useful additional input method (I have touchscreen, but remote inputs are always handy for something!) - May aswell make use of old joystick guts

    Throttle=volume
    Left/right=left/right balance.
    Tested on MS forcefeedback stick but should work on any stick.

    I might ditch the balance control and use the X&Y axis to adjust zoom.position etc within my GPS window (Install a mini stick on the dash ,should help the whole package feel more integrated into the car) - just keep throttle wheel for volume (hidden away somewhere)
    Can get 2nd hand sticks off Ebay for a pittance with all those controls on, ready for butchering.

    Nehemiah M10000 board, 512Mb RAM, Win98'lite', 7" TFT DIN in-dash VGA touchscreen. IR keyboard. GPS.
