    FrodoPlayer Update

Well, my goodness, I think it's time to reorganize and prioritize.
When I started this project I never knew how complicated and big
    that programming an interface is.

Here lies my problem. I've got concepts, I''ve got working code, I
have even got a pretty useable player.
But getting everything integrated is a *****. I have gotten to
a point where this is getting unmanageable.
I never came up with a plan, I thought my usual attitude of lets
just see what develops would work. Well I have changed that opinion.

I have code samples everwhere. At home, at work, unorganized folders
from mad late night coding sessions. I definately need to get it
    together....

So now I have to sit down, write a plan, a flowchart, and goals.
Who knew that this was this much work ???

    But it's so fun

BTW, anyone want to help with graphics ? please ? ....pretty please

Why don't you get that monkey of yours, that keeps replying to everything on the forum, to do some graphics.

Just kidding. I would help if I had more artistic abiltity. I'm sure someone on the forums would be happy to help.

    Frodo:

I hear that! If you remember I was the one working on MercuryX a while back. Then I realized that I too was going to have to do some reorganizing. I have finally got it back to where I was with a lot cleaner implementation. Think I might even be able to get a release out soon. Anyway just don't quit! If you need help with anything, let me know.

i've done a lot of big *** projects in my day. I use to be a head coder in the kismet project when I went to school with a bunch of them. Right now I'm working on a Linux App for in-car use.

The one thing I learned to do and always recommend is write out all aspects of your App on paper or use a program like visio that lets you see relations and such. Just totally plan it out before you jump right in. I know doing a carplayer in VB seems easy and it is to get started.. but then it snowballs.. FAST

Good luck to you.. looks like you got a good start
