I want some feedback on aiPC

    aiPC -- Automotive Infotainment PC

Here is the application. I got a couple of items done. When the app loads, go to infotainment and look around. Tell me what you think. Clicking/touching on the top bar/title bar will switch back and forth from day and night mode. The aiPC logo will take you back one step or quit.

    Thanks

Looks good. A darker font would be nice, I find the one you have kind of hard to read (or maybe that's just me).. Also, have you implemented any of the features in "Infotainment PC" Yet? when i click on them the voice comes, but nothing else.

BTW: I like the talking voice, that's neat

    Keep it up!

Hey, thanks! Ok. I will try to use another font for the menu items. Nothing else is done apart from the video player. The bottom menu will load up items if you are running winxp. Address book will load up outlook if you have Office 2k3

ps. do you want the darker font for day or night or both?

Day. Night looks OK. Even if you just darkened up the background a bit, that would help..

Quick question... what TTS engine are you using? Sounds pretty good.

It's actually AT&T True Voice Crystal. I had it for my home automation program -- talking home is really sweet(homeseer). I just made a bunch of text files and ran through text to wave converter and used the wave files. Better than having to call up the TTS everytime. If you want me to run anything for you, let me know. I am looking for a good text to wav prog though.

I did not rename the wav files. I am using AutoPlay Media Studio (http://www.indigorose.com) to create the application. The same app that is used by G-Net to make their Digital Dash. The application does all the renameing for you.

    Just thought I would share....

Did a quick search and found this on the web, lets you type in text and have it play back in a man's or woman's voice. I believe it is even the same woman's voice you are using.
