    FM Radio with RDS

    Hi,

i'm looking for a fm radio tuner that supports RDS and has some way of programming like an SDK or a .dll with some meaningful methods at least

It should be a USB one, PCI also possible.

I know I can get a d-link usb fm tuner for about $10 at ebay, but RDS is a must for me, so the price is not that important.

    Do you guys know one?

    Regards
    Bruno

In Europe, though, (and especially in Germany, RDS is widely used and a lot of the time broadcasts a lot more than just the station's call letters as is often the case here in the US. Frequently they broadcast the name/artist of the song and the like. Traffic information is also available via RDS in many places.

RDS is a very very useful system and unfortunately very underutalized and underappreciated in the US

Yepp. There are many things in europe that are used (and are very useful) that I can not find in the US. Teletext is one of them. I can look up the flight info before I leave the house in Austria when I lived in Vienna.

If it's stuck, force it. If it breaks it needed replacing anyway
