    This windows tweak will stop the GUI from loading

    For those of you that use media engine or gui replacements, this tweak is perfect for you. Really decreases the startup to idle time.

    You are confusing the GUI with Shell replacements. This "tweak" basically keeps Win95/98 from loading windows and stays in DOS.

    for changing your shell in 95/98 you edit system.ini (i think) and change shell=explorer.exe the shell=whatever.exe
